Project overview

Athlegen designs and manufactures medical treatment tables that improve the efficiency of clinicians and enhance the patient's experience.  

MKM Constructions contacted us to design, value engineer and fabricate the steelwork for a new combined office and warehouse building for Athlegen Treatment Tables. The warehouse needed to be designed for different working sections for multi-use requirements. These included a welding bay, a workshop area, and warehouse storage.

Challenges and solutions

The curved elements on this building presented an interesting challenge but were overcome by some detailed 3D CAD drawings and attention to detail to simplify and ensure seamless site installation. 

Mezzanine floor space including voids and stairwells was designed to accommodate future office growth and allow an area to oversee warehouse activity. Cantilever and frame setbacks were used to achieve architectural intent on the front facade of the building.
