Challenges and solutions
We designed the shed with one open side to allow trucks to back into the building and unload their grain, fertiliser, or almond hulls easily without obstruction issues. To ensure the shed was fit for purpose, we engineered the building for almond hull loadings and allowed for the pressure of loaders pushing against the walls when loading and unloading.
Furthermore, an 8m cantilever canopy on the open side was constructed to increase the shed’s weather protection.
“We first found out about Central Steel Build through one of our contractors that comes here on the farm. We found it great to work with them. Any minor issues that came across soon got sorted and we were very pleased with how they helped us out.”
