Hoffman Farm dairy building 

Project overview

Heath contacted us to build an open-sided cover over an existing feed pad for his dairy cows. His decision to invest in a feed pad cover was based on the well-proven fact that improving cow comfort by keeping dairy cows out of the weather increases milk production. The building needed to be designed to allow for feed truck access and for easy, safe access to and from the building for the cows.

Challenges and solutions

Building over an existing feed pad we had to ensure our building would fit nicely around the shape and size of the pad. Our installers also needed to make sure they would not damage the pad while installing our building over the top of it.
