Peter Maley indoor dressage arena
Project overview
After searching for a shed company to provide a top-quality indoor dressage arena, Central Steel Build was recommended to Peter by some friends. Peter chose to work with us as he loved that we ‘hot dipped galvanised’ and value-engineered the structure.
Peter wanted an indoor arena that was the same dimensions as a dressage arena to be used for training young horses for stock work and for his children and friends to ride in on weekends. At one end of the arena Peter wanted a covered area for saddling up. Due to the project being in the cyclonic area of Darwin, we guided Peter through the specific requirements for designing buildings to meet the cyclone area rating, which included having a higher roof to allow for extra truss depth.

Challenges and solutions
This project was straightforward without any specific challenges. Our project manager spoke with Peter prior to the kit being delivered to provide him with tips and tricks our installers use as well as things to be aware of when putting together one of our shed kits.
“Central Steel Build were good on price, they were good on service, they helped us get the proper certification for the cyclone area up here. The best thing about a Central Steel Build shed is that when you build it, and you build it right and use these people, you’ve got a safe environment for your kids to ride a horse.”
