Our client, a dedicated dressage rider and trainer in Scone, NSW, approached us for a combined indoor dressage arena and stable complex to prevent weather disruptions. Her vision focused on horse and rider safety with a shallow roof gradient to blend with her existing property infrastructure. Noorilim Equestrian Park

Project overview

A long-standing reseller, Signature Stables approached us with Noorilim Park Stud’s enquiry for a multi-use farm shed with the ability to store machinery and hay separately. After the completion of this project, the owners of the stud returned to us for a new stable complex to be installed beside the farm shed.

We needed to design the stable complex in a courtyard shape with room for extra storage under one of the wings.

Challenges and solutions

We liaised closely with the Stud owners throughout the design process of the courtyard stables. The unique design presented a series of challenges, compounded by the request to have one of the stable wings wider than the other for extra storage. The project required a lot of collaboration to ensure a successful result.
