Keysborough Powercor industrial depot
Project overview
Central Steel Build was commissioned by Powercor to value-engineer and construct a new industrial depot in Keysborough, following previous collaborations across other parts of Victoria. B2B Project and Construction Management, with whom Central Steel Build has a longstanding partnership, managed the project and provided the initial plans. Leveraging these plans, our structural drafting team optimised the design for cost-effectiveness, incorporating a small parapet along the front and enhancing the façade to elevate the architectural appeal of the structure.

Project success and impact
In collaboration with Powercor and B2B Project and Construction Management, we optimised cladding options and parapet heights for a more cost-effective structural solution.
Through our value engineering, unnecessary architectural elements were minimised to enhance building functionality. The design features large vehicle storage at the rear, complemented by office space at the front, with a unique cladding design for branding and aesthetic appeal.
