Shimora Wines combined tasting and brewery building
Project overview
We were entrusted with a detailed set of architectural drawings for a winery function centre, including a barrel storage and processing area. Challenges and solutions
By incorporating large SHS columns and heavy-duty spanning purlins, we successfully created a spacious interior while accommodating the unique cladding and architectural elements. In addition, a section of the barrel room building was designated for living quarters and carefully designed to comply with class 1 building code standards.
The close collaboration between our structural drafting team and the architect played a vital role in ensuring a seamless construction process, resulting in a highly satisfied customer.
“We chose to use Central Steel Build for our winery buildings based on the advice of both our builder and our architects and it’s been a very satisfactory process. The materials they use, and the workmanship of their erectors are magnificent. We’re very pleased.”
